Transcriptome of the megalopa and the first juvenile of Eriocheir sinensis

The most conspicuous feature of morphological change from megalopa to juvenile crab is that a reduced abdomen entirely folds beneath the thorax. However, the molecular mechanisms of brachyurization are poorly understood. Transcriptome at two development stages (the megalopa stage, stage M; the first crab stage, stage J1) of Chinese mitten crab larva were constructed, sequenced and assembled by RNA-high-throughput sequencing to research.
