资源简介:
Aluminium stress causes devastating abiotic stresses in crop plants by effecting its roots. As a highly aluminium sensitive crop, lentil is a major crop in field fellow areas and a suitable model for aluminium stress tolerance research. In this study, we compared the transcriptome changes between the aluminium-tolerant (L-4602) and Aluminium-sensitive cultivar (BM-4) along with a wild accession namely (ILWL-15) in response to Aluminium stress treatments (148 µM Al concentration). Transcriptional regulation, signal transduction and secondary metabolism in two genotypes along with a wild accession showed significant differences, all of which might be related to mechanisms underlying Aluminium tolerance. The transcriptional profiles presented here provide a foundation for deciphering the mechanism underlying aluminium tolerance. Based on our findings, we proposed several candidate genes that might be used to improve aluminium tolerance in lentil.
