We analyzed the influence of laboratory domestication on the courtship behavior of the fruit fly species Anastrepha obliqua, an important agricultural pest. We compared the temporal patterns of pheromone emission (Calling behavior) and the frequencies and sequences of the courtship behavioral units of males of a laboratory lineage (F=67) and a wild population (F=0).
