Digital Archive from an Archaeological Excavation at PORR Slab Track Factory, Trinidad Works, Wanstrow, Shepton Mallet, Somerset, February 2023

This collection consists of site images (including those of cremated human remains), GIS data, and spreadsheets from an archaeological excavation at the PORR Slab Track Factory, Trinidad Works, Wanstrow, Shepton Mallet, Somerset. Works were conducted by Cotswold Archaeology in February 2023. The excavation recorded seven postholes and four pits. Associated dating evidence was very limited, but was Mesolithic/Early Neolithic and Bronze Age in date. One of the pits contained an undated human cremation burial.
