Transcriptome sequencing of Passer montanus

In this study, the total RNA had been extracted respectively from the brains, cerebellums, hearts, livers, kidneys, muscles, and ovaries or testis of two male and female adult Passer montanus. And then we mixed the RNA from twenty tissues and sequenced them. We tried to discuss the following scientific questions: (1) the basic information of transcription in Passer montanus (2) the phylogenetic relationship among Muscicapoidea, Sylvioidea, Passeroidea and Paridae in the Passerida (3) the evolutionary rate of the complex I in the complex I.
