Laminated Object Manufacturing (LOM) Rapid Prototyping Technology (RPT) is an efficient and suitable technique with many applications. However, its application for wood product prototyping (WPP), especially in micro-thin wood objects, namely different types of wood veneers, the thermal heat effect emanating from LOM heat sources, challenge the quality of the final 3D wood products. Therefore, regarding the parts and processes, which thermally affect the workpiece during object lamination (part-building phase), namely laser cutting and laminate bonding or hot pressing, this present report is a part of the understanding of the heat transfer within the heat roller of LOM RPT.

层合物体制造(LOM)快速原型技术(RPT)是一种高效且适用范围广泛的工艺。然而,其在木制品原型(WPP)中的应用,尤其是微薄木制物体,即各类木材单板,以及由LOM热源产生的热效应,对最终3D木制品的品质构成了挑战。因此,关于在物体层合(部件构建阶段)中受热影响的部件和工艺,即激光切割和层合粘接或热压,本报告旨在成为对LOM RPT热辊内部热传递理解的一部分。
