After adding 20% and 40% (w/w %) mature AGS, the SVI30 instantly reduce to 130.8 mL g-1 and 91.34 mL g-1, respectively. Moreover, matured granules with an average diameter of 335 μm and 350 μm were obtained after 28 days, and simultaneous COD and ammonium removal was also realized after granulation.
