Lunar regolith presents challenges for lunar activity, being comprised of electrically charged, sharp, and irregular dust particles that cause harm to human health and equipment. Traditional spacesuit cleaning methods, such as brushing and vacuuming, have limited effectiveness and introduce suit fabric abrasion. This research establishes and investigates liquid cryogen dusting as a tool for safe and effective lunar dust mitigation. This research was funded through the 2021 NASA BIG Idea Challenge by the NASA Space Technology Mission Directorate and through the WSU Auvil Scholars Fellowship by The Washington Apple Education Foundation.
