Remote camera detection data and space-to-event and time-to-event code for estimating black bear (Ursus americanus) density in Idaho.

This dataset contains remote camera trap detections and deployment metadata for three study areas in Idaho, USA. The code includes abundance and density estimation using the space-to-event (STE) and time-to-event (TTE) models for two camera deployment methods (random placement and targeted placement). The code includes a single run of the STE and TTE and bootstrapped (n = 1000) estimates when sampling with replacement. These data support analyses presented in a manuscript currently under submission.
