ECUACOG Dataset: Verbal Fluency and Reading the Mind in the Eyes Test in Ecuadorian Adults

This dataset contains neuropsychological assessment data collected from 397 healthy adults residing in Quito, Ecuador, as part of the ECUACOG normative project. Participants were evaluated using the following instruments: the Verbal Fluency Test (phonological and semantic modalities), the Reading the Mind in the Eyes Test (RMET), the Trail Making Test (Parts A and B), the D2 Attention Test, and the Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI). Data are organized by participant code, age, sex, and educational level. All identifying information has been removed to ensure participant confidentiality. This dataset supports the findings reported in the manuscript "Verbal Fluency and Mental State Recognition in Ecuadorian Adults: Evidence of a Lexical-Cognitive Association in Social Cognition," submitted to Behavioral Sciences (MDPI).
