The qappanon Twitter account has several hundred friends, but we identified twenty one that are "flying the flag" -having either Q or anon in their screen names.<br><br>These files contain the numeric IDs for the friends and followers of qappanon, and each of the twenty one allies.<br>The Graph Modeling Language files contain the network as well as some metrics we employ to simplify visualization using Gephi. These files are <b>enormous</b>, requiring a Xeon processor and familiarity with Gephi's quirks.<br>The attached Python script, tw-mkgml5, shows the calculation of the metrics we use, in particular the ones related to what we refer to as "symmetry". Automated accounts will often have a nearly perfect match between friend count and follower count. They also produce a torrent of tweets and a high volume of likes. As a last step, we multiply the two numbers, which ensures that we're mostly seeing automated accounts.<br>This script also features the use of a "seed", a numeric attribute based on a geometric mean of friends, followers, lists, tweets, and likes. The numeric seed is used to ensure that the accounts on which the network is based can be made visible above all of the other nodes, using text sizing and some sort of spline to squelch any visual noise.
