Arsenic contamination is an increasing problem throughout Ohio. In order to address the microbial contribution to arsenic mobilization, both shotgun metagenomic and 16S rRNA gene amplicon data were collected from four separate groundwater wells in three different counties throughout central and southern Ohio to assess microbial community dynamics.
