资源简介:
Landscape benefits (aka consolidate benefit) mapping highlights areas where conservation of existing vegetation, condition improvement of degraded vegetation, or rehabilitation of cleared areas are most likely to contribute to maintaining and enhancing connectivity across a region\r\n\r\nThis layer is one of four approaches to vegetation management, comprising:\r\n\r\n- [*Manage benefits*](https://iar.environment.nsw.gov.au/dataset/native-vegetation-management-nvm---manage-benefits9c71e) highlights remaining examples of highly cleared vegetation types\r\n- [*Improve benefits*](https://iar.environment.nsw.gov.au/dataset/native-vegetation-management-nvm---improve-benefitsaaf8c) highlights where remaining examples of highly cleared vegetation types can be improved in condition\r\n- [*Restore benefits*](https://iar.environment.nsw.gov.au/dataset/native-vegetation-management-nvm---revegetate-benefits1d347) highlights where to restore highly cleared vegetation types in cleared landscapes\r\n- [*Landscape benefits*](https://iar.environment.nsw.gov.au/dataset/native-vegetation-management-nvm---landscape-value-mapping-benefitsbb846) highlights areas that contribute to the connectivity between extant native vegetation. Includes existing vegetation and locations to restore lost linkages\r\n\r\n### Version 1.0 (2012)\r\nproduced for the Draft NSW Biodiversity Strategy (see [this report](https://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/resources/biodiversity/120905NVMTecRep.pdf)). Data is relevant to 2012\r\n### Version 1.1 (2017)\r\nproduced for data relevant to 2013\r\n\r\n## More information\r\nFor more detail see [the Native Vegetation Management Benefits technical report](https://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/research-and-publications/publications-search/integrated-model-data-fusion-approach-measuring-habitat-condition-ecological-integrity-reporting) and [this scientific paper on the method](https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0304380021003963). Climate-informed versions of the manage benefits and restore benefits (v.1) can be found [here](https://iar.environment.nsw.gov.au/dataset/data-packages-for-the-biodiversity-impacts-and-adaptation-project).\r\n
