Massive proliferation of retrotransposons contributes to genome size expansion in species of the Pseudocercospora genus

The TE detection tool Earl Grey was run independently for P. fijiensis and P. ulei. The naming convention for the different TE families is onlyreflecting when they were detected (e.g. RND-1_FAMILY-1 just indicates that this was the first TE family detected in the first round). Therefore, overlapping TE family names between the two speciesdon't indicate that these are the same families in any way! *spades.fasta are the genome assemblies created in this project. This is the raw output, without any filtering of small contigs.
