Dataset: Liquid surface synthesis of ultrathin two-dimensional metal halide perovskite

The dataset contains structural and spectroscopic characterization results of the liquid surface grown 2D halide perovskite thin sheets. In this project we demonstrate a scalable synthesis method of ultrathin 2D metal halide perovskite thin sheets through spreading precursor solution on a antisolvent subphase, where the crystals can be picked up by contact using a solid substrate. Results from X-ray diffraction, absorption spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy and photoluminescence spectroscopy are provided to characterize the synthesized perovskite sheets.
