The OECD Anti-Bribery Convention came into force in 1999 to combat bribery in foreign business transactions – a commitment by countries to build fairer markets. 25 years later, the Convention continues to be a reference to guide action. Governments, business and civil society all have a key role to play in putting a stop to bribes and corruption.
