Net home-domiciled UCITS and AIF assets for the funds industry Hungary 2011-2015

This statistic illustrates the net home-domiciled UCITS (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) and AIF (Alternative Investment Fund) assets for the funds industry in Hungary from 2011 to 2015. UCITS adhere to the single European regulatory framework, which makes it possible to market the investment vehicle across all of the European Union countries, irrespective of the rules of country of domicile. The framework was designed to strengthen the security, protection and fluidity of the EU investment market. In the case of Hungary, as figures showed, net assets increased between 2011 and 2014, reaching a value of more than 16.8 billion euros in 2014.
