Raw 16S rRNA sequencing data from a perioperative observational study of colorectal cancer patients: association of gut microbiota dysbiosis with prolonged time to first flatus

This BioSample set includes 140 fecal samples collected from 60 colorectal cancer patients undergoing laparoscopic radical resection. Patients were divided into a shortened TFF group with TFF less than 66 hours, comprising 30 patients, and a prolonged TFF group with TFF equal to or greater than 66 hours, comprising the other 30 patients. Fecal samples were collected at three time points, preoperatively as T0, 5 plus or minus 1 days postoperatively as T1, and 10 plus or minus 1 days postoperatively as T2. The V3-V4 hypervariable regions of the 16S rRNA gene were sequenced to analyze gut microbiota composition and diversity. All samples were collected at Nanning, China.
