Glacier fjords as a natural analogue of mineral-based ocean alkalinity enhancement? (dataset from Southwest Spitsbergen)

Sampling in southwest Spitsbergen was performed in August 2022 from RV Oceania (stations named ‘R’ in Isfjorden) and SY Azimuth (stations in Bellsund, Skoddebukta, and Hornsund Fjord). At each station, vertical CTD profiles were obtained along with water samples from Niskin bottles for dissolved organic carbon (DOC) and inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity (AT), nutrients: phosphate (PO₄³⁻), ammonium (NH₄⁺), nitrate (NO₃⁻), dissolved silica (dSi), Suspended Particulate Matter (SPM) and particulate organic carbon (POC) at 3–6 discrete depth layers, altered according to the station depth.
