Attendance at domestic movies in Honduras 2014-2021

In 2021, the number of tickets to domestic films sold in Honduras declined by 80 percent to only six thousand. For comparison, the figure was 35 times higher in 2017, when it peaked at 210 thousand. Honduras reported the second-lowest box office revenue in Central America in 2021, in a ranking featuring six countries in that region.
