* pThe gamma secretase inhibitor, DAPT, was added to culture of MCF7 cells for 48 hours. The cells were collected and analysed for expression of CD44+ CD24low and tested for mammosphere formation. The CD44+ CD24low expressing population and number of mammosphere formed were significantly decreased following exposure to the inhibitor.
