RNA sequencing of wheat anthers

We collected anthers from plants grown in greenhouse at different lengths. Anthers were collected only from middle 3-5 spikelets of the primary tiller and stored in liquid nitrogen during collection. There were three biological replicates per sample. Total RNA was extracted by TRIzol (Invitrogen) and evaluated the RNA intergrity with an Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer (Agilent Technologies). The Berry Genomics Company prepared the sequencing libraries and performed the high-throughput sequencing (150bp PE reads) on NovaSeq 6000 (Illumina).
