We aim to clarify the efficacy of Costunolide on CPT11-induced GI toxicity and explore the underlying microbiota-driven mechanism against mucositis. We investigated the contributive role of gut microbiota in the action of Costunolide in CPT11-injected mice with drug administration or combined with gut bacteria manipulations. We performed cecal 16S rRNA sequencing, clarify a gut microbiota-driven mechanism by which Costunolide ameliorates Chemotherapy-induced intestinal mucositis.
