Ella escribía poscrítica (despite the ruins): Margarita Mateo Palmer between criticism and fiction

Abstract This paper presents an analysis of Ella escribía poscrítica, by Margarita Mateo Palmer, first published in 1995, with a second definitive edition in 2005. More than to discuss its argument, we seek to analyze the book's characteristic genre transgressions and read it defending that it was constructed with the collage of diverse textualities. The main objective is to analyze some of the meanings produced by this writing strategy in literary criticism, especially regarding the relationship with the context of the Cuban Special Period.
