Databases used in the Discamps & Dancette study of Grotte XVI Pleistocene faunal assemblages (Dordogne, France)

The "GXVI zooarch fragment records.xlsx" file includes data on:
- taxonomic and skeletal identifications (based on morphology)
- taphonomic alterations
- ID numbers, XYZ coordinates and layer attributions
- size classes (cm)
- refits
& other zooarchaeological/taphonomical information

The "GXVI zooarch teeth records.xlsx" file includes additionnal data on the teeth identifications.

The files "GXVI modif SPATIALall.xlsx" and "GXVI modif SPATIALgroup.xlsx" are modifications of the same datasets, used for projections using QGIS during the study. "GXVI modif SPATIALall.xlsx" includes, in addition, XYZ coordinates of artefacts from other layers.
