THE IMPACT OF A HEUTAGOGICAL APPROACH TO INSTRUCTION ON STUDENTS' ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT

This article provides a scientific analysis of the impact of organizing the learning process based on the heutagogical approach on students’ academic achievement. The study highlights the theoretical foundations of heutagogy, particularly its connection with self-directed learning, metacognitive skills, and constructivist approaches. It also reveals the role of heutagogical instruction in developing students’ independent thinking, problem-solving skills, reflection, and intrinsic motivation. The results of the empirical analysis indicate that the application of the heutagogical approach significantly improves students’ academic performance, level of knowledge acquisition, and interest in learning. The article concludes with scientific and practical recommendations for implementing the heutagogical approach in the modern education system.
