Analysis of the gene expression profile of the cervical cancer cell line HeLa in the presence or absence of Caspase-8 expression. The result offered an useful insight into the altered gene expression of metastasis associated genes due to the negative regulation of RNAPII mediated gene transcription by Caspase-8 Total RNA from non-synchronized and S/G2-phase synchronized HeLa WT and KO cells were extracted using the RNeasy Plus kit (Qiagen) and subjected to microarray expression profiling using the HumanHT-12 v3 arrays. Additional controls were also included in the form Caspase-8 knock-down HeLa WT cells and Caspase-8 overexpressing KO cells
