Genome sequencing of Ostrinia nubilalis (European corn borer) bivoltine E pheromone adult female alternate pseudohaplotype

The European corn borer, Ostrinia nubilalis (Hubner) (Insecta: Lepidoptera: Crambidae) is a major pest of sweet corn and grain corn, and can cause variable damage to specialty crops. This project reflects the genome sequencing and assembly of Ostrinia nubilalis conducted by the USDA-ARS Ag100Pest Initiative.

欧洲玉米螟，学名 Ostrinia nubilalis (Hubner) （昆虫纲：鳞翅目：麦蛾科），是甜玉米和谷物玉米的主要害虫，对特种作物亦能造成不同程度的损害。本项研究反映了美国农业部农业研究服务局（USDA-ARS）Ag100Pest 初始化计划对 Ostrinia nubilalis 基因组进行测序和组装的工作。
