Uterine carcinosarcomas (UCS) are rare highly aggressive gynecological malignancy. ANXA2 is a calcium-dependent phospholipid binding protein that is over-expressed in various cancers, and plays a pivotal role in tumor migration, metastasis. However, the exact function and mechanism of ANXA2 in UCS have not been elucidated. Herein, we aim to elucidate the role of ANXA2 in UCS and the molecular mechanism involved in it. Overall design: To investigate knockdown of ANXA2 on changes in gene expression profiles in uterine carcinosarcoma, we performed gene expression profiling analysis and compare RNA-seq data between FU-MMT-1 cells transfected with si-ANXA2 and control non-silencing siRNA 48 hours
