Prospect Electricity was a NSW Government State owned corporation that was responsible for retailing electricity to consumers in the Greater Western Sydney region between 1991 and 1996. The Agency commenced trading in 1957 as Prospect County Council. On 1 March 1996 Prospect Electricity was merged with Illawarra Electricity to form Integral Energy in preparation for the National Electricity Market and electricity deregulation. This series contains the papers of the Prospect Electricity Board.
