Metagenomic analysis of the rhizosphere microbiome of Corylus trees displaying differing levels of Anisogramma anomala disease resistance

Here metagenomics was used to examine the taxonomic and functional features of microbial communities across bulk soil (control) and three Corylus rhizosphere sample groups, obtained from trees that displayed differing levels of resistance to Anisogramma anomala; Corylus americana (heavily resistant), Corylus avellana (susceptible), and Corylus avellana (moderately resistant).
