Benchmark power system base case with multiple DC links in multi-infeed configuration

Benchmark power system base case with multiple DC links in multi-infeed configuration, designed for steady-state studies and other simulations. The test system was developed from a network equivalent of the Brazilian power system based on recent data. A highly condensed model, enabling simulations in academic versions of professional power flow software, which have restrictions about the maximum number of allowed bus. The proposed benchmark provides new research and teaching options for users. Another contribution is the flexibility for converting data input formats to other programs, such as MATPOWER, as well as adaptations to allow the insertion of HVDC.
