<b>Project title</b>: PMACS-100<b>Grant Information:</b> AHA Grant 9TPA34910007, Regulatory role of pericardial macrophages in myocardial infarction<b>Project Description:</b>· Animal Model: Myocardial Infarction· Animal Age: 8-12 Weeks· Animal Sex: Male· Animal Strain: GATA6<sup>Venus</sup> Reporter Mice· Number: 12 mice· Groups: 3 infarction, 3 sham sacrificed at day 7. 3 infarction sacrificed at day 3, 3 infarction sacrificed at day 14· Experimental Conditions: Mice were given MI via LAD ligation. Animals were sacrificed at day 3, 7 and 14 post-infarction or sham surgery. Hearts were harvested and prepared for immunofluorescent microscopy.
