Sediment Core Data from Caonillas Reservoir in Utuado, Puerto Rico

The datasets contained in this repository are physical and geochemical data from sediment cores collected between 2019 and 2022 from Caonillas reservoir in Utuado, Puerto Rico. Sediment cores were collected using a surface gravity percussion corer that penetrated the reservoir bed down 2 meters below the sediment-water interphase. The sediment core data include x-ray fluorescence data from ITRAX Core Scanner, and grain size data from Coulter Laser Particle Size Analyzer, dry bulk density, and organic percent derived from Loss-On-Ignition methods (Dean, 1974).
