Data and code for Jimenez et al. "Limited evidence that reputation-based partner choice facilitates information sharing in humans"

Data, code and experimental protocols for the paper "Limited evidence that reputation-based partner choice facilitates information sharing in humans" by Ángel Jiménez, Lei Chang, Keith Jensen, Hui Jing Lu & Alex Mesoudi. jimenez_etal_2026_analysis_code.Rmd is an RMarkdown file containing all analyses for the paper, both R code and description of the code. Each code snippet can be run separately, or the whole file can be knit together. jimenez_etal_2026_figure_code.R is an R script with all code for generating the figures in the paper. You need to load data and custom functions from jimenez_etal_2026_analysis_code.Rmd first. data.zip contains all data in csv format. This should be unzipped and placed in the same folder as jimenez_etal_2026_analysis_code.Rmd and jimenez_etal_2026_figure_code.R stanfiles.zip contains required stan files. This should be unzipped and placed in the same folder as jimenez_etal_2026_analysis_code.Rmd stanfits.zip contains pre-run stan models to save having to run the stan models each time, which take a while to run. This should be unzipped and placed in the same folder as jimenez_etal_2026_analysis_code.Rmd oTree Code.zip contains all o-Tree code that was used to program the experimental tasks.
