Data on seasonally varying foliar nutrient concentrations in woody plants in China

We compiled a database of seasonally varying concentrations of nine foliar nutrients (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Mn, Zn, and Cu) for woody plants in China based on a survey using the Web of Science (http://isiknowledge.com), Google Scholar (https://scholar.google.com), and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (http://www.cnki.net/). This database was used to assess the seasonality of foliar nutrient concentrations in woody plants in China, the results of which were published in the journal Ecology.
