<b>A</b><b> </b><b>Point</b><b> </b><b>Prevalence</b><b> </b><b>Survey</b><b> </b><b>and</b><b> </b><b>Health</b><b> </b><b>Care</b><b> </b><b>Providers’</b><b> </b><b>Perceptions</b><b> </b><b>on</b><b> </b><b>Antimicrobial</b><b> </b><b>Use</b><b> </b><b>in</b><b> </b><b>Primary Health Care, Mwanza, Tanzania: A Mixed Method Approach</b>

This qualitative point-prevalence survey was conducted in four PHC facilities in Mwanza, Tanzania. Health facilities were randomly selected after stratification of public PHC facilities in the Mwanza region. The quantitative component used the World Health Organization methodology for a point prevalence survey on antibiotic use in hospitals version 1.1 (WHO-PPS). In-depth interviews were conducted with healthcare providers as part of the qualitative study.
