Searching male killing agent from Spodoptera litura

We found sex-ratio biased matrilines caused by male killing from Spodoptera litura. To seach the male killing agent, totaly ovarian total RNA from 6 females were collected and subjected to RNA-seq. The 3 females (Sl-1, Sl-2, Sl-3) from 3 types of 1:1 sex ratio broods and 3 females (Sl-4, Sl-5, Sl-6) from 3 types of all-female broods. The Sl-1 and Sl-4 were same matriline, Sl-2 and Sl-5 were same matriline, Sl-3 and Sl-6 were same matriline.
