Code and Data for the Paper "Graph Colouring: A Visual Tour"

This resource contains the code and graphs used to generate all the figures in the paper: Lewis, R. (2026), "Graph Colouring: A Visual Tour", https://arxiv.org/abs/2602.18246. An abridged of this article is also available on Towards Data Science. To use this code, simply download all the files into one folder and execute the Python script MakeFigs.py. This will generate all the figures using the graphs listed in the supplied text files. The libraries networkx, matplotlib and gcol are needed to execute this code. These can be installed for free via pip. See https://gcol.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ for further details.
