ESA WorldCover is a global land cover database that provides 10-meter resolution global land cover products for 2020 and 2021, developed and validated using Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 data. This database was developed by a consortium of leading European service providers and research organizations, with the aim of supporting diverse user communities and promoting the development of novel services. The WorldCover project is part of the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Copernicus Programme, and features near-real-time update capabilities.
