Oil refinery capacity in Spain 2005-2023

Spain's oil refinery capacity increased from roughly 1.38 million barrels per day in 2005 to 1.59 million barrels daily in 2019. Since then, capacities in the European country have remained around the same. In 2023, the daily oil refinery capacities of Spain made up around two percent of the world's total daily capacity, which stood at around 103.5 million barrels per day.
