资源简介:
Samples from midden and privy features at two loci from 5LA2175 in southeast Colorado
were examined for pollen, parasites, phytoliths, and macrofloral remains. Locus K consists of a
group of 10-12 domestic structures that appear to have been occupied from approximately 1895
to 1914, prior to the Colorado Coal Field War Strike and Ludlow Massacre in 1913-1914. Locus
8 was a domestic occupation area constructed after the strike and was occupied from about 1915
to 1931. Pollen, parasite, phytolith, and macrofloral analyses are used to provide information
concerning foods eaten, trash deposited, and health in a comparison between pre-strike and poststrike
occupations.
