This dataset contains 250 high-resolution quasar spectra. Observations were conducted using the Ultraviolet Visual Echelle Spectrograph (UVES) mounted on the Very Large Telescope (VLT), with the emission redshifts of the spectra ranging from 0.191 to 6.311. The total exposure time of the dataset is 1560 hours, enabling the measurement of column densities of absorbers with damping wings, with a lower limit of $N_{
m HI} > 10^{19}
m{cm^{-2}}$. This dataset also includes 150 damped Lyα systems (DLAs) and sub-DLAs within the redshift range of 1.5 to 4.7.
