Foreign passenger car production volume in Russia 2014-2026

After a significant downfall from 2014 to 2016, the foreign car production levels in Russia recovered, reaching over 1.1 million units produced in 2018. The figures declined again in 2020, down to under 890 thousand foreign cars. The forecast base scenario for 2026 expected the production levels in that year to exceed 1.15 million cars.
