Metagenomic Decoding of Microbiomes in Food Wastewater

This project investigates the microbial communities present in food industry wastewater using a metagenomic approach. By extracting and sequencing the total microbial DNA, it aims to uncover the diversity of bacteria, archaea, and fungi, as well as their potential functional roles. The findings will provide insights into microbial ecology, nutrient cycling, and opportunities for biotechnological applications such as wastewater treatment and resource recovery.
