PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying container which， while detecting the temperature and humidity of granular materials in a central region in a container by a sensor， suppresses the damage of the sensor when the granular materials are charged. SOLUTION: A drying container 1 for storing a large number of granular materials and drying them by blowing air comprises: a container body 11 which has a box shape and has an air supply port 116 communicating the outside and the inside， and includes a bottom and sides connected to the outer edge of the bottom; advancing/retreating means 15 which is fixed to the container body 11 and can advance/retreat in a direction where the bottom surface of the container body 11 spreads; and a sensor 16 which is arranged in the container body 11 in a state of being connected to the advancing/retreating means 15 and can detect the ambient temperature or humidity. The advancing/retreating movement of the advancing/retreating means 15 is performed between an advanced posture in which the sensor 16 is advanced so as to be away from the side and a retreated posture in which the sensor 16 is retreated so as to approach the side.
