Use Case 1 explores the benefits of a cooperative local environment model and a cooperative planner for managing complex urban traffic situations with the goal to support the ambitious EU safety and environmental targets by improving road safety and efficiency. The focus is on corridor management in situations where not all lanes of a road are available, e.g., when one is blocked by a stopped vehicle. Various situations are considered in which an obstacle on one lane needs to be passed by traffic arriving simultaneously from both directions sharing the only remaining lane. For example, the situation with two vehicles that only have their onboard sensors available or one vehicle and one cyclist for which infrastructure sensors are available. To improve communication availability and reliability, UC1 also includes different communication technologies (5G mobile network with cm- and mm-wave and 60GHz WiFi) that are realized and assessed. The definitive tests to obtain the KPIs were performed on the following dates: 08.04.2025, 20.05.2025, 14.07.2025, and 18.08.2025. The final demonstration of UC1 was conducted on 09.04.2025. This data package contains all logs, a README guide to the structure of the data logs, and the computation methods to obtain the KPI results.
