Replication Data for: Foreign Direct Investment and Political Preferences in Non-Democratic Regimes, 2023, Comparative Political Studies. Study 1 uses data from the Afrobarometer (Rommel_FDIsupport_CPS_AFB.dta), study 2 uses data from the Pew Global Attitudes Project (Rommel_FDIsupport_CPS_PEW.dta). The Stata do-file (Rommel_FDIsupport_CPS_Analysis.do) replicates both analyses. The original project-level FDI data that were used to generate the analysis datasets are available from The Financial Times, Ltd., but restrictions apply to the availability of these data, which were used under license for the current study, and so are not publicly available.
