The National Women's Soccer League, also known as NWSL, is a professional domestic women's soccer league in the United States. Founded in November 2012, the league currently comprises 10 teams throughout the United States, with two more teams set to join in 2022. In a survey conducted in May 2021, only six percent of White respondents in the United States stated that they were avid fans of the NWSL.
