The off-axis sawteeth (OAS) is triggered by the magnetic reconnection of double tearing modes (DTM), and series of Alfven waves are observed during the oscillation of OAS. The existence of OAS is an important pleatau for investigating the relationship between the energetic ions and Alfven waves. The internal transport barriers (ITBs) are easily established when the oscillation of OAS or DTM is suppressed.
